From May 30 to June 1, the Rail Transit Group conducted the acceptance inspection for Phase I of Nantong City's Urban Rail Transit Line 2. The acceptance committee announced that the project had successfully passed inspection, marking its entry into a new phase of empty-load trial operation and representing a significant step toward completion and commissioning.

The acceptance ceremony was attended by experts including Xu Xuejun, former Deputy Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Honorary Chairman of the Urban Rail Transit Special Committee; Zhang Dachun, Chairman of the committee; Zhou Weimin, Second-Level Researcher at the Municipal Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development; Wang Zhi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Rail Transit Group; Zhang Jianhui, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager; as well as Party Committee members Han Xu, Liu Xiangyong, and Xi Hongjian.

Under the supervision and guidance of the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and the Municipal Construction Project Quality Supervision Station, the Rail Transit Group established a Project Acceptance Committee comprising 18 experts from the rail transit industry and representatives from all participating units involved in Phase I of Nantong Urban Rail Transit Line 2. Through methods including reviewing professional reports, inspecting physical quality, verifying archival documents, and testing operational functions, the committee conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the project, issued an acceptance opinion that fully affirmed its quality, and provided valuable recommendations. Xu Quan, Director of the Municipal Construction Project Quality Supervision Station, read out the supervisory findings, and all parties unanimously agreed that Phase I of Nantong Urban Rail Transit Line 2 had passed the project acceptance review.
