On the afternoon of Aug. 8, China Railway Corporation held the first media Open Day at Puxian Road Station of Nantong Metro Line 1 to explore the upcoming Line 1.

Puxian Road Station is the No.1 decoration standard station of Nantong rail transit. The decoration takes the geographical and natural culture as the background and the river wind and sea charm as the main elements. Through the integrated design technique, the flowing posture of the river is formed, and the overall shape is like sailing a ship on the water surface of the canal. They are strong and aggressive. They are "inclusive and willing to be first". At the same time, the station adopts the materials and construction methods of low emission and low energy consumption, which has the advantages of green and low carbon, economic cost and convenient maintenance.

At the event site, under the leadership of the station staff, the media units focused on visiting the hall and platform of Puxian Road Station and listened to the detailed introduction of the docents on the convenient service facilities such as blind lane, barrier-free elevator, AED defibrillator, intelligent security checking machine, customer service center and third toilet.

Afterwards, various media units visited the electric bus of Nantong Rail Transit Line 1 to fully understand the characteristics and humanized design of the train. On the basis of meeting a large number of passenger flow carrying functions, the train of Nantong Rail Transit Line 1 has fully considered the travel needs of passengers, and carefully designed in the aspects of handrail installation, special seat arrangement, carriage temperature, congestion degree and barrier-free facilities, so as to provide passengers with safe, comfortable and convenient travel services.
