From August 23 to 24, 2021, Wuxi Metro successfully organized the engineering acceptance meeting of Metro Line 4 Phase I project, inviting government supervision departments, project leaders of all participating units and representatives of operating units to focus on Wuxi Metro with the support of technical services from Urban rail Transit Construction Committee of Jiangsu Civil and Architectural Society and other professional units. Check the quality of the project. Lu Chunxiao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wuxi Metro Group, and Zhang Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and president of Wuxi Metro Group attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhu Yixin, Party member and deputy chief engineer of Wuxi Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Zhu Qiuliang, deputy director of Wuxi Construction Engineering Management and Service Center, attended the meeting and spoke. Metro Group Party Committee member, vice president Luo Hedong presided over the meeting.

This acceptance meeting set up the project acceptance committee, and set up comprehensive acceptance group, civil construction and decoration acceptance group, mechanical and electrical acceptance group and system acceptance group four professional acceptance groups. At the meeting, representatives of Wuxi Metro Group, design unit, supervision unit and construction unit reported respectively the construction and implementation of the first phase of Metro Line 4 project. On this basis, according to the requirements of relevant documents, the expert group carried out on-site physical and internal data inspection for the Phase I project of Wuxi Metro Line 4.

After intense, orderly and meticulous project acceptance, the project acceptance team comprehensively listened to the construction implementation report of the participating units, and checked the entity and internal business data in groups. After full discussion and combined with the opinions of each acceptance group, the project acceptance committee formally formed the official project acceptance opinions, and agreed that the first phase of Wuxi Metro Line 4 project pass the project acceptance.

Under the care and guidance of provincial and municipal departments at all levels and strong support from all walks of life, after more than 4 years of construction and preparation, Wuxi Metro Line 4 phase I project has reached the milestone of project acceptance, and Wuxi will usher in a new network operation pattern. The phase I project of Wuxi Metro Line 4 is a half link in the rail transit network of Wuxi, communicating with the center of Old town Business zone, Lihu Leisure center, Taihu New Town Business District, Science and Technology New Town and Xidong New Town, supporting the realization of the "three-center linkage" urban development structure of Wuxi, strengthening the connection between central Business zone and Business zone, Lihu Leisure center and Taihu New Town Business District. On this basis, Xixi New City, Science and Technology New City, Xidong New City and other key urban development areas are connected, which enhances the radiating driving role of the central city and brings a new growth step for the development of the new city.
