The main structure of Tumen Station on Line 8 of Xi 'an Metro was successfully capped on Dec 1, as the final roof was poured.

Tumen Station, constructed by China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group, is located at the intersection of Fenghui North Road and Fenghao West Road, and is laid north-south along the west side of Fenghui North Road. With a total length of 197 meters and a standard section width of 23.2 meters, the station is a three-layer underground structure. The excavation depth of the foundation pit is 28.5 meters. The station is close to the West Second Ring Viaduct and Tumen Ring Island, so the number of land expropriation and demolition is large, the traffic diversion is difficult, and the pipeline relocation conditions are complicated.

After the project started, in order to ensure the safe and orderly promotion of construction production, under the strong support of Lianhu District, traffic police department, the property rights units, the city rail Group and participating units to promote the project construction, and continue to refine and optimize the traffic guide reform, pipeline transformation and the main structure construction scheme. In order to ensure the safety of the West Second Ring viaduct, the participating units also customized the special-shaped gantry crane for station construction. In addition, through the organization of labor competition, signing of safety and quality commitment letter and production responsibility and other assessment incentive measures, to ensure construction safety and quality control, and finally achieve the goal of capping on schedule.

After the topping-off of Tumen Station, backfilling, pipeline relocation, road restoration and other work will be further accelerated, and auxiliary projects such as entrances and exits and wind pavilions will be organized and implemented. Up to now, the main structure of 22 stations on Line 8 has been capped, and 59% of the construction has been completed.
